OPTIMA has a vacancy for an Accounts Assistant based in Cove. This role will provide support the UK Finance Manager and wider finance group by ensuring that Customer Billing is completed accurately and on time. The successful candidate will be responsible for customer billing, maintaining an accurate sales ledger and monthly sales ledger reporting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Accounts Assistant will work to a timeline agreed with the UK Finance Manager to prepare ad-hoc analysis, project work or general assistance to the wider UK finance group in an accurate and timely manner.
Regional Technical and Sales Engineer
Location: Dyce, Aberdeen
Tetra Technologies (UK) Limited has a vacancy for a Regional Technical and Sales Engineer, based in Dyce, Aberdeen at present and moving later this year to a facility in Cove. Domestic and international travel will be required to fulfil the role. A full and current UK driving licence is also required. This is a full time, permanent role.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing TETRA business activities in UK and other areas of Europe and Sub Saharan Africa, including assisting in planning and scheduling the various Company operations, convening meetings, marketing, client liaison, business development and the selling of TETRA Fluids product lines. They will actively search for, recommend and secure opportunities, projects and alliances to enable the company to maximise its profits and potential in appropriate market segments. They will work alongside the Regional Sales and Marketing Manager to liaise with, and evaluate the needs of, the customer with regard to TETRA supplied services. This role will collate all necessary data for client tender submissions, and prepare and review Clean Up and Tools programmes to the satisfaction of the customer, as well as preparing all other relevant end of well documentation.
Educated to degree of HNC level, within a relevant discipline. Extensive domestic and international knowledge of Displacement Completion Fluids, Wellbore Clean-Up Tools and Chemicals, or a background in drilling Fluids/Completion Fluids, is essential as a minimum. Experience of operations and sales, including presenting technical solutions, negotiating terms & conditions, closing sales and managing contracts is preferred. Proven track record of developing oilfield business by selling technology, products & services is also preferred.
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate problem solving experience in a challenging environment. They should have versatility, tenacity and confidence, be capable of dealing with multiple tasks within tight timeframes, be a solution-finder, and manage changing and conflicting priorities.
